Socials
As a Marketing Intern for HUNT, I managed posting social media content, graphic design, and strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. My work focused on building a consistent brand identity, producing engaging media, and driving measurable results.
This not only expanded HUNT’s audience but also improved engagement and strengthened the overall digital presence of the brand. Below are some examples of the content I had a hand in creating and our analytics from July-September 2025.

Dev Doc Theatre
Read More:
I have had the immense pleasure of working with Charles McNeely, a retired theatre professor from McNeese State University, on his passion project of creating content that is dedicated to bringing understanding to the misunderstood. Dev Doc Theatre is an organization that is devoted to documenting people’s stories about their lived experiences and challenges they have overcome.
So far, I have been able to work with McNeely to edit two stories from survivors of Hurricane Audrey and the challenges they have overcome from their experiences. I was given creative freedom to edit as I saw fit and I am very proud of the work I was able to produce. I was responsible for compiling footage into fully edited, documentary-style videos. I was able to research and find footage and photos that made sense to use within the content. The projects tasked me with making creative decisions on making intro and outro segments, as well as how and where to place edits and effects. I was also able to work with clients to make changes to their videos as they deemed fit.
I also worked closely McNeely to redesign their website for Dev Doc Theatre. I was responsible for creating a website audit to identify problems with the old site, making mockups of a new mobile and desktop website design, and implementing a new design in WordPress. I continue work to update and maintain site. Take a look at the new website here!

In March 2025, I was recruited by the McNeese Poke Press to provide photography coverage for the McNeese basketball team’s NCAA tournament games in Providence, Rhode Island. With full media access to the court sidelines, I captured dynamic images of players, coaches, the crowd, and the pep band during high-pressure moments.
My responsibilities included:
- Selecting and retouching photos for publication in game-day editions.
- Delivering images under tight deadlines to meet press production schedules.
- Ensuring shots reflected the energy of the tournament and the spirit of McNeese athletics.
This project gave me experience shooting live sports in an NCAA environment, working with editorial staff to quickly identify high-impact images for fans and alumni. Take a look at the shots I captured!

Photography Classes At McNeese
In my Fall 2022 semester I was able to take some classes that introduced me to photography and many principles of photo taking. I was able to learn skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom in order to edit and enhance some of the photos that I took. Since then, I have taken up photography as a hobby. Please take a look at some of my work!
Videography, Editing, And News Writing Classes At McNeese
While working through my mass communication degree at McNeese, I have taken many videography and editing classes that have increased my knowledge and experience with media creation. I have had the opportunity to work on short films and music videos. For these projects, I was responsible for script writing, story boarding, filming, and editing. I was also responsible for directing actors in order to bring these stories to fruition.
Along with creative film classes, I have also had classes relating to news media production. During these classes, I worked to write news stories. Along with writing, I took the role as news anchor and field reporter. I was responsible for creating multiple news packages which included scripts, interview footage, and b-roll footage. Each story was then edited by me before being submitted to my professor.
I encourage you to look at some of my work! (WARNING: Music video and short story contain profanity!)

McNeese Football Team
Along with photography and videography classes, I have worked with McNeese’s football team to film and photograph their games and practices. It was a great experience getting more accustomed to camera work, filming techniques, and editing work. The job also heavily relied on teamwork and coordination, as we had to make detailed plans for who captured what and when. It was a fast-paced job where we had to be on high alert for any changes or problems that arose.
