In March 2025, I was recruited by the McNeese Poke Press to provide photography coverage for the McNeese basketball team’s NCAA tournament games in Providence, Rhode Island. With full media access to the court sidelines, I captured dynamic images of players, coaches, the crowd, and the pep band during high-pressure moments.
My responsibilities included:
- Selecting and retouching photos for publication in game-day editions.
- Delivering images under tight deadlines to meet press production schedules.
- Ensuring shots reflected the energy of the tournament and the spirit of McNeese athletics.
This project gave me experience shooting live sports in an NCAA environment, working with editorial staff to quickly identify high-impact images for fans and alumni.
