Hunt Tech. Internship

HUNT Tech is an outdoor innovation startup based in Southwest Louisiana, focused on developing better solutions for people who spend their time outside. Their flagship product, HUNT Repellent, is a DEET-free, scent-free insect repellent designed to provide long-lasting protection without harsh chemicals or overpowering odors.

As a marketing intern, I contributed to building HUNT Tech’s digital presence and product launch strategy. My work included:

  • Graphic Design: Created branded visuals, product mockups, and promotional assets for both digital campaigns and in-store displays.
  • E-Commerce Management: Maintained and updated the Shopify website with new products, pages, and content.
  • Social Media Management: Managed and grew brand presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, including content planning, posting, and analytics.
  • Email & SMS Marketing: Designed and implemented email campaigns and automated flows using Klaviyo.
  • Brand Development: Helped refine the company’s visual identity to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

This role gave me hands-on experience integrating graphic design, digital marketing, and e-commerce to help launch and grow an outdoor brand from the ground up.

  • Facebook1.05M total views (+1.5K%), including 599.9K organic views (+1.7K%) and 451.7K ad views (+1.3K%). Content generated 13.8K interactions (+580.5%) and 17 days, 13 hours of watch time (+618.4%), indicating strong audience engagement and sustained viewing.
  • Instagram348.8K total views (+100%), with 200.3K organic views and 148.5K ad views. Reach climbed to 80.1K (+649.1%), alongside 5K content interactions, showing meaningful growth in discoverability and engagement.

Audience Growth:

  • Facebook grew by 2.4K followers, reinforcing its role as the primary driver of reach, engagement, and long-form viewing.
  • Instagram added 1.3K followers during the reporting period, reflecting increased content discoverability and stronger organic interest.

Highlights:

  • Both platforms experienced significant visibility growth, with sharp increases in total views, reach, and interactions over the reporting period.
  • Facebook led overall performance, delivering the highest volume of views, engagement, and watch time, supported by both strong organic traction and paid amplification.
  • Instagram demonstrated notable organic momentum, with reach and views rising substantially, signaling improved content resonance without sole reliance on ads.
  • Paid campaigns drove pronounced spikes, particularly in late summer and early fall, effectively boosting awareness and reinforcing organic performance rather than replacing it.

Email Marketing and Klaviyo Automation

At HUNT Tech, I used Klaviyo to design, automate, and manage manage email and SMS marketing campaigns that supported product launches, sales promotions, and ongoing customer engagement. My work combined creative content design with data-driven automation to deliver measurable results.
